Cristina Ionescu graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest and acquired a master degree in Judicial Career. She fluently speaks Romanian and English. Cristina is a lawyer in Bucharest, Romania and a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2016.
During her career, Cristina has been mainly involved in litigation proceedings concerning Labour Law, tort law, civil liability, enforcement procedures and consumer protection issues arising from credit contracts containing alleged abusive clauses.
Cristina’s expertise includes coordinating insolvency procedures on behalf of unsecured creditors, including day-to-day monitoring of developments, drafting complaints and appeals and representation in courts of law; providing clients with legal advice in various litigations related to illegal expropriation during the communist regime and further restitution of property.
She is also experienced in Labour & Employment Law, with a special focus on litigation, having already assisted numerous clients with cases related to termination of employment, non-compete clauses and other various breaches of the employment contractual documentation.
Cristina has experience in completion of formalities for registration of companies, transfer of shares, change of core business, change of shareholders, change of headquarters, as well as representation before the Trade Register.
Outside the office, Cristina enjoys to practice ballroom dance and different other sports including swimming, tennis and horse riding.
